Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Civil Procedure, to transfer the investigation from the 1st respondent to any other agency vide in Crime No.19 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for the transfer of the investigation in Crime No.19 of 2021 from the file of the first respondent to any other agency.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing

for the first respondent submitted that the entire investigation in Crime No.19 of 2021 has now been completed and about to file a final report. He further submitted that they are awaiting one document from bank to file the final report.

3. In view of the above, transferring the investigation to a new agency would not be appropriate, as the new investigating officer would have to start from the zero point for investigation. Therefore, the transfer of investigation would not serve any purpose. Hence, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
