ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to cancel the patta standing in the name of the 3rd respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 18.11.2025.
2. Since the aforesaid representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.V.Vasanthakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry), accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order has been passed against the 3rd respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with by this Court.
4. Since the petitioner has not filed any acknowledgement for having served the representation, dated 18.11.2025 on the official Page No.2 of 6
respondents, the petitioner will have to give a fresh representation to the official respondents.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to give a fresh representation, provided a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 3rd respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner is allowed to give a fresh representation seeking for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 3rd respondent and a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 3rd respondent as well as any other third party whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
7. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the 1st respondent seeking for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 3rd respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation within the stipulated time, the 1st respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the said representation, after giving due consideration to the documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the 3rd respondent, and any other third party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.
9. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
