ORDER

It is represented by both sides learned counsel that the matter has been since settled between the Management and the 2nd respondent viz., R.Ramasamy.

2. The matter was referred for mediation. One of the employees alone settled. A memo is filed before this Court. As per the terms of settlement, the Workman has agreed to receive a sum Rs.2 Lakhs as full quit. The said sum would be paid today, through a demand draft No.006288 drawn on Axis Bank, Gandhiji Road, Erode, dated 04.12.2024.

3. In view of the settlement, the memo is recorded and this Writ Petition is disposed of as settled between the parties and nothing further requires to be adjudicated. The amount received above shall also include his claim in the subsequent claim petition which is subject matter of W.P.Nos.1602 and 1603 of

2015, the said Writ Petitions also remain closed, in as much as this Workman - Ramasamy and the Writ Petition Nos.1602 and 1603 of 2015 will be continued in respect of other workmen. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

2. In the original order dated 09.12.2024, there is an error in the appearance portion.

3. Accordingly, the appearance portion shall be corrected as follows: "For Petitioner : Mr.C.Manohar Gupta for M/s.Gupta and Ravi For R1 : Labour Court For R2 : Mr.E.Srinivasan For R3 : Notice served - No appearance"

4. The Registry is directed to issue a fresh order copy by carrying out the said correction in appearance portion.
