Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for records of the order passed by the second respondent, in Na.Ka.No.9904/2016/A7, dated 23.11.2016, and to quash the selection of the 3rd to 17 respondents to the post of Village Assistant to 16 vacant posts in the Madurangatham Taluk, Kancheepuram District, as that the selection based on the interview, having the residence of the candidature as a priority of selection, non constitution of the selection committee, criteria of selection and consequently, to direct the second respondent to select and appoint the petitioner to the vacant post of the Village Assistant in the Madurangatham Taluk, For Petitioner : Mr.P.Paramasivadoss For Respondents : Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi Additional Government Pleader

After some arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition, with liberty to invoke Appeal remedy as well as Revision remedy under Rules 9 and 10 of Tamil Nadu Village Servants Service Rules, 1980. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Writ Petition today.
In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, leave granted, and this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty, as sought for by the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
