.. Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of certiorari to call for the records of the orders in (1) Rc.No.117018/NG.3(1)/08, dated 23.10.2008 of the first respondent and in (2) C.Po.No.1247/2008 (C.No.N3/34472/2008), dated 15.07.2008 of the second respondent and to quash the same and to issue consequential directions to the respondents to retransfer the petitioner in any of the vacancies in Coimbatore District forthwith.

ORDER
The present writ petition is directed against the impugned transfer order dated 15.07.2008 passed by the second respondent transferring the petitioner from Coimbatore District to Vellore District.
2. It is seen from the records that on 12.08.2009, this Court, while ordering notice to the respondents, did not pass an order of interim stay against the impugned order of transfer passed by the second respondent. Therefore, now, after a period of ten years, in my view, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. M.P.No.2 of 2009 is closed.
