Writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue Original National Trade Certificate to the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel for the 2nd respondent placed a letter addressed by the Director of Employment and Training , Chennai, wherein it is stated as follows:

In the reference cited above, Thiru G. Shankar, former Draftsman (Civil) trainee of Government Industrial Training Institute, Ambattur has filed a Writ Petition No.13451 of 2016 to issue NTC In this regard, it is informed that the petitioner studied in Government Industrial Training Institute Ambattur in the trade of Draftsman (Civil) in the session August 1988 to July 2000 and passed All India Trade Test held in February 2000.
As per scrutiny in our office records, it is identified that the petitioner's National Trade Certificate is under Ambattur ITI custody (NTC No.160731) and the Deputy Director/Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute, Ambattur has informed that the original NTC for batch mate of this petitioner was already issued. However, this petitioner didn't collect the certificate till date from the concerned Industrial Training Institute. In the letter 2nd cited, the Deputy Director/Principal, Government ITI, Ambattur has
informed the petitioner has to come and collect the certificate by producing his Provisional National Trade Certificate.
Hence, the above may be submitted in the Honourable High Court at the time of hearing the case and may be requested to dismiss the Writ Petition.
3. As the 2nd respondent is willing to deliver the certificate to the petitioner. Petitioner is directed to appear before the Deputy Director/Principal, Government ITI, Ambattur within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such appearance, the Deputy Director/Principal, Government ITI, Ambattur shall issue the National Trade Certificate within two days thereafter.
4. With the above direction the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 01.12.2022 kpr
