Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner, as the devotee of Arulmigu Agastheeswarar Annapoorani Thayar @ Nattatheeswarar Nallanayagi Ammal Temple situated at S.No.372 of Patlur Village of Tiruchengode Taluk, erstwhile Salem District, now Namakkal District, is seeking for a direction from this Court to direct the first respondent to consider his representation dated 15.06.2017, wherein and whereby he seeks for vesting the administration of the above https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

said Temple under the jurisdiction of the Joint Commissioner, H.R. & C.E., Salem and Assistant Commissioner, H.R. & C.E. Namakkal instead of Joint Commissioner, H.R. & C.E., Coimbatore and Assistant Commissioner, H.R. & C.E., Erode, as has been vested at present.

3. Needless to say that it is for the first respondent to look into such issue of jurisdiction and decide the matter on merits and in accordance with law. Therefore, this Court, at this stage is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, except to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the above representation of the petitioner dated 15.06.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
