Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned G.O.Ms.No.41, dated 13.07.2006 issued by the first respondent herein, quash the same and consequently direct the respective respondents herein to permit the petitioners, to join duty forthwith in pursuance to the appointment orders issued on 27.02.2006.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent would submit that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and the writ petition may be closed.

4.In the light of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
