Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus after calling for the records relating to the order dated 25.03.2004 in Letter No.948/Va.Vai.4/TNSTC(pension)2001 passed by the first respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to pay the petitioner pension for his entire service from 15.9.75 to 31.5.2000 w.e.f 1.6.2000 with all arrears and consequential benefits.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to call for the records relating to the order dated 25.03.2004 in Letter No.948/Va.Vai.4/TNSTC(pension)2001 passed by the first respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to pay the petitioner pension for his entire service from 15.9.75 to 31.5.2000 w.e.f 1.6.2000 with all arrears and consequential benefits.

2. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted a copy of the death certificate of the petitioner which reveals that the petitioner was died as early as on 11.05.2009.

3. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as abated. However, liberty is granted to the legal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

heirs of the petitioner to approach this court by way of appropriate application, if this writ petition survives them. No costs.
