The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to conduct survey of the petitioner's lands within a time frame, enabling the 2nd respondent to issue individual patta in the name of the petitioner by making necessary sub-divisions in the revenue records.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had given his representation as early as on 08.02.2016, however, the same has not yet been considered so far. 3.Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents 2 & 3 may be directed to consider the petitioner's request, after giving https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
notice to other interested parties and pass orders in accordance with law within a time frame.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2017 and pass orders, after giving notice to all the interested parties, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
