Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records comprised in Letter No.T.05M/D.B/D.O.1/F.Package/2020 dated 08.01.2020 on the file of the fourth respondent and quash the same as arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to evaluate and process the bids strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act 1998 and the terms of the Short term tender notice No.20/2019 -20/SE/B/C & M/C/SLM dated 30.10.2019 and award the tender to the successful bidder as determined consequent thereto. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified mandamus to quash the letter in No.T.0.5M/D.B/D.O.1/F.Package/2020 dated 08.01.2020 on the file of the fourth respondent and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to evaluate and process the bids strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act 1998 and the terms of the Short term tender notice No.20/2019 -20/SE/B/C & M/C/SLM dated 30.10.2019 and award the tender to the successful bidder as determined consequent thereto. 2/4

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the tender submitted by the petitioner was rejected, by the order impugned of the fourth respondent dated 08.01.2020. Challenging the said rejection of the tender submitted by the petitioner, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. It is brought to the notice of this Court that, though the tender submitted by the petitioner was rejected vide impugned order passed by the fourth respondent dated 08.01.2020, subsequently, the said tender has been awarded in favour of the petitioner. Hence, no further adjudication is necessary in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
