This Writ Petition is heard through Video-Conferencing, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
2. The writ petition is filed challenging the order passed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board, Chennai, dated 30.05.2013.

The said communication mentions that Hazarad Syed Rahmathullah Sahib Wakf is a registered Wakf and the said Wakf https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
has been managed by Janab Syed Murthasa Basha in the capacity of a Muthavalli. The Urus festival was to be conducted between 11.06.2013 and 23.06.2013 and the Chief Executive Officer had requested the Superintendent of Police, Nagapattinam to give police protection for the smooth running of the said festival. The said communication is being challenged by the petitioner and now that the period of Sandalwood festival itself is over, there is nothing survives in this Writ Petition for adjudication, as the same has become infructuous.
4. It is also stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the right of the petitioner as a Muthavalli of Wakf Board is separately challenged in another W.O.P. No.9 of 2010. It is open to the parties, to establish their rights in the said petition.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
No Costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
