This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.100/2018 pending on the file of the first respondent police.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the first respondent submits that this case was registered against the petitioner for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 506(i) and 447 of IPC and Section 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(x) of the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Amendment) Act, 2015 and upon investigation no truth in the complaint was found and accordingly, the case was referred as mistake of fact.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), nothing survives for adjudication in the instant Criminal Original Petition.
