[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in C2/541/2017 dated 06.01.2017 by the Detaining Authority against the detenue by name, Umapathi, aged 42 years, S/o.Narayanasamy and quash the same.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted to the effect that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.37 dated 27.02.2017 and to that effect, a copy of the same has been submitted, wherein, it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has been revoked.

3. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
