ORDER
1. This application is filed by the learned AG&OT seeking permission to donate 2000 metres of Gada Cloth and 25 boxes of hand gloves by purchasing the Gada cloth from Sre Jem Fabric and the hand gloves from International Surgical Equipment Company to Uravugal Trust at Choolaimedu, Chennai 600 094 by meeting out the said expense from and out of funds of the Trust Estate of Kadapakkam Charities relating to Fy 2019-2020.
2. Learned AG&OT submitted that the Founder of Uravugal Trust which is functioning in Chennai, had requested to donate 5000 metres of Gada cloth and 100 boxes of hand glove for carrying out burial of unknown and unclaimed dead bodies.
3. Even though the requirement of the Trust is something more,
considering the quotation received for the articles, the Official Trustee is convinced to accept the lowest price quoted by Sre Jem Fabric, Erode and International Surgical Equipment Company for supplyling Gada Cloth and hand glove.
4. Since the object of the Trust is to carry out burial of unknown and unclaimed dead bodies, this Court is fully convinced that the application is purely in the interest of serving public. Since the funds are required only to buy things which are more necessary for the beneficiary to perform charity, this Court is inclined to allow the application.
