Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to appoint the petitioner as the Dealer for the petrol bunk at Theagaraya Road (Opposite to Nagesh Theatre), T.Nagar, Chennai-17 based on the Selection conducted by the then Dealer Selection Board on 22.11.2000 in accordance with the guidelines issued by the 1st respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and he has also made endorsement to that effect.
In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, the present Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, it is open to the petitioner to make necessary application before the 2nd respondent seeking for allotment of any retail dealership owned by the 2nd respondent company. If any such application is filed, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same 2/3
sympathetically and pass suitable orders. No costs.
