PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking Writ of Certiorari Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order RC.No.15872/J2/2012 dated 31.05.2012 passed by the 2 nd respondent quash the same in so far as the seniority assigned to erstwhile Readers, particularly the Petitioner is concerned and direct the 1 st and 2 nd respondents to recast the seniority of the petitioner herein by placing the petitioner senior to all the erstwhile Lecturers (Selection Grade) in the merged post of Associate Professor by reckoning his inter se seniority among erstwhile Readers on the basis of his date of promotion to the post of Reader and consequently to direct 1 st and 2 nd respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Principal in any of the State Government Colleges in Tamilnadu with effect from 01.01.2011, with all consequential benefits including payment of arrears of pay and allowances in the said post.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the entire case record was returned to petitioner way back in the year 2016 itself and till date, the petitioner has not made any alternate arrangements to prosecute the Writ Petition.
