ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the second respondent are present. The second respondent/ P.Vimala is also present in Court.

She states that in pursuance to the settlement arrived at between the parties, she has received a demand draft for a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- drawn at Equitas Bank, T.Nagar Branch. This amount, she receives in full quit on the claims made in I.D.No. 297 of 2008. The parties have signed the compromise memo and that has been filed in USR No. 20432 of 2023. The memo of compromise is recorded and it shall form part of the order.

Recording the same, I do not find anything illegal or irregular in the compromise memo. In terms of the compromise memo entered between the parties, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
