This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd, 3rd and 4th respondents to continue to engage the petitioners as Aerobridge Operators in the same manner as they did during the pendency of W.P.No.1676 of 1996 and
I.D.No.381 of 2004 till the Award in I.D.No.381 of 2004 is published in the Central Government Gazette and 3 months thereafter to enable the petitioners to file a writ petition challenging the Award passed in I.D.No.381 of 2004 and getting suitable relief for their continuance and award costs.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent/Airports Authority of India submitted that the writ petition was filed in regard to the appointment of Aerobridge operators and this Court granted interim order dated 21.09.2005 to go head with the selection process but subject to the outcome of the result of the I.D.No.381 of 2004. He further submitted that a docket order dated 26.09.2006 has been passed in I.D.No.381 of 2004 in favour of the second respondent/Airports Authority of India and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition and this writ petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
