The case of the petitioner is that he joined the respondent Corporation in the year 1989 and has put in 28 years of service till now. While so, the petitioner suffered a sudden fall in the vision and hence he could not see the objects properly. He was referred to Dr.Agarwal's Eye Hospital at Krishnagiri. After several tests, it was found that the petitioner is suffering from "severe advance diabetic retinopathy". In view of the same, the petitioner made several representations to the second and third respondents to provide alternative light duty to him, but in vain. Hence this writ petition.

2.Ms.Rajini Ramadoss, learned counsel, takes notice for the respondents.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second and third respondents are directed to consider the representation dated 21.06.2018 made by the petitioner, by referring the petitioner to the Medical Board and by following proper procedures, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
