The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the the respondent to grant permission to conduct the cultural and adventure program and to give police protection which is scheduled to be held on 08.06.2015 in Mariamman Temple, Dhasirapalli Village, Sembadamuthur (Post), Krishnagiri District.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the date for conducting the cultural and adventure program has lapsed and hence the prayer sought for in the present writ petition has become infructuous.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
