O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for issue a writ of certiorarified cum Mandamus calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the respondent dated 22.09.2006 in Na.Ka.No.172/C-4 P.S./2006, quash the same and direct the respondent to permit the petitioner on behalf of his party viz, Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam to conduct a public meeting in support of the cause of Srilankan Tamils at Vellore-Sathuvachari R.D.O. Salai, Vellore on 10.10.2006.

2.When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the Writ Petition has been rendered infructuous and she has made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the submission and also the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected M.P. is closed.
