Prayer :- Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai, C.C.No.10116 of 2014 on his file, and dispose it within a reasonable time schedule that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This is a petition seeking direction to the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai to dispose C.C.No.10116 of 2014 on the file of his Court within a reasonable time schedule fixed by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.Learned Government Advocate, submitted that there are two accused in this case and both of them are dead. That is, the first accused K.A.Thirumurugan died on 14.03.2013 and second accused died on 01.11.2020. The case was closed as charge abated on 28.04.2021. The copy of the order passed by the learned Magistrate, Chennai, on 27.04.2021 is also produced. This order shows that the case in C.C.No.10116 of 2014 was closed as charge abated on 28.04.2021. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the closure of the case, for the reason that charge abated against the accused, nothing remains to be decided in this case. Therefore, Criminal Original Petition in CRL.O.P.No.27244 of 2016 is dismissed as infructuous.
