Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of a writ, directing the first respondent to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's house at Old No.32, New No.37, Mudaliandan Thottam, Karimedu Slum Clearance Board, Teynampet, Chennai-18 without reference to the particulars sought in 2nd respondent letter dated 14.07.2008 and pass orders.

The petitioner filed the Writ Petition directing the first respondent Electricity Board to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's house at old No.32, New No.37, Mudaliandan Thottam, Karimedu Slum Clearance Board, Teynampet, Chennai-18.
2. Though the Writ Petition was filed in the year 2009, no interim order has been passed. After a lapse of ten years it is not possible to issue positive direction, however, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file fresh application before the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board with relevant documents. If any application is filed, the Electricity Board after affording sufficient opportunity to the third respondent Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board shall pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
