Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, forbearing the respondents herein from interfering in any manner with the petitioner from extracting, transporting and supplying drinking water to employees of the Factories, Government Offices, Hospitals and Public from the land in Patta No.119 of the respective land owners comprised in Survey No.575, Ambattur Village, Saidapet Taluk, Sembium Sub District, Thiruvallur District.

Heard Mrs.P.Vedavalli, learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms.M.Lalitha, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1, 3 to 6 and Mr.M.Jothi Kumar, learned counsel for the second respondent.
2. The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for issuance of writ of mandamus, forbearing the respondents from interfering in any manner with the petitioner from extracting, transporting and supplying drinking water to employees of the Factories, Government Offices, Hospitals and Public from the land in Patta No.119 of the respective land owners comprised in Survey No.575, Ambattur Village, Saidapet Taluk, Sembium Sub District, Thiruvallur District.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, by producing a letter of the Inspector of Police (Law & Order), T2 Ambattur Estate Police Station, Chennai, dated 20.07.2019 would submit that the petitioner passed away on 14.11.2012. The said letter has been placed before this Court for perusal along with the death certificate of the petitioner and the same are taken on file.
4. In the light of the above facts, this Court is of the considered opinion that no further adjudication is necessary in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
