This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide 'A 'Class facility to the petitioner in connection with C.C.No.4 of 2013, pending on the file of II Additional Special Judge for NDPS Act, made in Judgment dated 29.01.2016 now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal-1, Chennai-600 066.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case in C.C.No.4 of 2013 has ended in conviction in 2016 itself. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3.It is seen that the petitioner was convicted in the year 2016. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
