Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent herein to grant continual approval for the Industrial School Sri Adhishankarar Industrial School, Trichy and consequently approve the list of students admitted by the petitioner Institute to the following Courses: (I) Automobile Mechanic; (II) Electrical Technician (III) Welding Technician (IV) Refrigeration A/c and Central Plant and (v)Bench Fitter, for the academic year 2016-17.

O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the Government of Tamil Nadu, Department of Employment and Training, State Council for Vocational Training, by its proceedings in No.38254/ISI/2017, dated 14.12.2017, has granted permanent registration number and affiliation for the following trades: (i)Automobile Mechanic (ii)Electrical Technician (iii)M.R. A/c & Central Plant (iv)Welding Technician The learned Senior Counsel further submitted that since the petitioner has been granted affiliation, they may be permitted to declare the pending results.

2.In view of the above submission made by the learned senior counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the same, the writ petition stands disposed of, permitting the petitioner to declare the results, if any, so far declared. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
