ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to register the sale deeds bearing Ref.Nos.,TP/2755426/2018, TP/2721107/2018 and TP/2761106/2018 dated 20.03.2018 on presentation as agricultural land as per the value fixed by the Tamil Nadu Registration Department. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that, the three sale deeds, mentioned in the prayer dated 20.03.2018, were presented before the respondent office for registration, however the same were not registered for the alleged reason that, the land though are agricultural land, the Registration Department wanted stamp duty of the market value as a residential area or otherwise but not as an agricultural land. Only with that controversy, those documents seems to have not been registered, therefore, in order to register the same, as per the guideline value provided for the land in question, which are covered under the said sale deeds, the petitioner had approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

3.Heard Mr.T.Sai Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who would submit that, though three sale deeds were presented for registration, as per the instruction of the petitioner, is not pressing the third sale deed in Ref.No.TP/2761106/2018 and if the other two sale deeds are considered for registration, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.On the other hand, Mr.Richardson Wilson, learned counsel for the Government appearing for the respondent, on instruction, would submit that, the two documents dated 20.03.2018 in Ref.Nos.TP/2755426/2018 and TP/2721107/2018 have been considered for registration and accordingly, the registration has been effected on 21.04.2021 and those documents, after registering the same, have been given the number as Document Nos.1233 & 1234 of 2021, therefore the prayer now sought for by the petitioner has been accomplished, he contended.

5.In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel for the Government appearing for the respondent which is not in controversy, since the petitioner's plea to register the 2 out of 3 documents in question as per the guideline value as claimed by the petitioner since have been met, no further order is required except to record the aforesaid development. 6.In that view of the matter, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having accomplished the prayer sought for in this writ petition. No costs.
