Respondents H.C.P. has been filed for a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the body of the petitioner's wife namely Loganayagi, aged about 19 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

This Habeas Corpus petition was referred for mediation to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court of Madras, by the order of this Court, dated 3.2.2015.
2. A communication, dated 3.2.2015, of the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court of Madras, enclosing a copy of its Mediation Report, dated 3.2.2015, has been received, and in the said Mediation Report, it is stated as follows:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
"The petitioner, respondents 1 and 2, and petitioner's wife Mrs.Lokanayaki, who is the detenue herein, and their respective counsels are present. Both the petitioner/husband, Mr.S.Selvakumar and Mrs.Lokanayaki, the detenue/wife say that their marriage has been solemnized on 9.1.2015 at Gangaiamman Thirukoil at Tiruvannamalai and produced a copy of Marriage Agreement duly notarized. The petitioner/husband also undertakes to register their marriage. Mrs.Lokanayaki, the detenue/wife says that she is not willing to go with her mother and willing to go along with the petitioner/husband Mr.S.Selvakumar today itself. A photo copy of the Marriage Agreement is enclosed. Hence the matter is sent back to the Hon'ble Court."
3. In such circumstances, as the detenue is a major and since she expressed her unwillingness to go with her parents, she is permitted to go along with the petitioner as per her wish. As no further orders are necessary, we find it appropriate to close the Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
