This petition is filed seeking to withdraw HMOP. No. 155 of 2022 on the file of Family Court, Cuddalore and transfer the same to the file of Family Court, Chennai.
2. The petitioner is the wife. HMOP. No. 155 of 2022 has been filed by the respondent/ husband seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty on the file of the Family Court, Cuddalore.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a hose-wife and she has no income and has to take care of a small child of 9 months old. He would also submit that the distance from Chennai, where she is now residing, to the Family Court, Cuddalore is about 200 Kms. Thereby the petitioner sought for transfer of HMOP.No. 155 of 2022 to the Family Court, Chennai.
4.During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent fairly submitted that the case may be transferred to SubPage No.3/5
Court, Tambaram for which the learned counsel for the petitioner reported no objection.
5. Considering the circumstances, this petition is disposed of with a direction to withdraw HMOP. No. 155 of 2022 from the file of Family Court, Cuddalore and transfer to Sub-Court, Tambaram.
