Respondents [R7 to R9 suo motu impleaded vide order dated 30.01.2020] Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus forbearing the 5th respondent educational institution, viz. CARE College situate at No.27, Thayanur Village,

Kuttappatti, Srirangam Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District 620 009 from letting out their educational campus to the 6th respondent political party for conducting their political/commercial conference on 31.01.2020 (Friday) at about 10 am.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.D.Shanmugam, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 & 3, Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, learned counsel for the

respondents 2 and 4, Mr.P.Vinodh Kumar, learned counsel for the fifth respondent, Mr.Ashwin Prasanna Agilesh, learned counsel for the sixth respondent and Mr.V.Chandrasekaran, learned Senior Panel Counsel for the respondents 7 and 8.

2. The petitioner seeks a direction against the educational institution not to let out the educational campus to the sixth respondent for conducting political/commercial conference on 31.01.2020.

3. The relief prayed for does not survive. In the light of that, the issue would now be academic. The issue raised in the petition can be considered in appropriate writ petition.
