ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the case pertaining to Crime No.79 of 2023, pending on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same as against the petitioner. 1/4

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner is one of the passenger in Car which was driven by the driver in a rash and negligent manner dashed against the Special Sub Inspector. There were six accused arrayed in the FIR. This Court, in Crl.O.P.No.1972 of 2024 vide order dated 28.03.2025 quashed the FIR in respect of A2 to A6 except A1, however, directed the first respondent to complete the investigation in Cr.No.79 of 2023 and file final report as against the A1. Hence, seeks for quashment of the FIR.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that final report is filed as against the A1 in C.C.No.226 of 2025 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate-IV, Saidapet and submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

4. Such view of the matter, since the FIR is quashed as against the petitioner by order dated 28.03.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.1972 of 2024, this petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
