Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records in I.D.No.595 of 1999 on the file of I Addl. Labour Court, Chennai order dated 20.01.2003 and quash the same.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the award of the I Additional Labour Court, Chennai, made in I.D.No.595 of 1999 dated 20.01.2003.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel would submit that pending the Writ Petition, the Workman was reinstated into service and he also died while in service on 13.08.2013 and all the terminal benefits by considering him as having died in harness while in service, were paid to all his legal heirs and his son was also employed on compassionate basis in the petitioner management and as such nothing survives further for adjudication by this Court. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
