ORDER

The petitioner has come with the present writ petition to quash the order dated 18.07.2008 passed by the first respondent with regard to forfeiture of security deposit made by the petitioner towards penalty for short fall in off-take during the licence period 2001-02.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the respondent concerned with a fresh representation for appropriate relief, for which the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
