The rectification petition was filed before the erstwhile Intellectual Property Appellate Board (IPAB) sometime in the year 2008. Learned counsel for the applicant / first respondent submits that all these documents are relevant for the adjudication in this petition. A counter statement has been filed by the first respondent / petitioner. In the counter, it is stated that the documents relate to the years 2017 to 2023.

2. The petition is still at a preliminary stage in as much as issues have not been framed. This application was filed in the year 2015 while the matter was pending before the IPAB. By considering the above facts and circumstances and by taking into account that this is an original proceeding the applicant / first respondent has established reasonable cause for allowing this application. Therefore, this application is allowed subject to the right of the first respondent / petitioner to file an affidavit of admission / denial in respect of these documents.
