ORDER
This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to forward the case in Crime No.621 of 2018 to the Juvenile Justice Board.
2. It is seen from records that the respondent police have registered an FIR in Crime No.621 of 2018 for an offence under Sections 147, 148, 365, 302 and 201 of IPC. This petitioner has been arrayed as A11. The petitioner was arrested and was remanded to judicial custody.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the present petitioner, who is admittedly juvenile, filed a bail petition before the Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur and the same was dismissed by an order dated 10.01.2019 on the ground that the regular Court cannot consider the bail petition and the petitioner has to necessarily approach the Juvenile Justice Board. The learned counsel submitted that this petitioner is inside the prison for the last 53 days and the respondent police has not forwarded the records to the Juvenile Justice Board. Therefore, the present petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to forward the case diary in Crime No.621 of 2018 to the Juvenile Justice Board within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Juvenile Justice Board seeking for bail and workout his remedy in accordance with law.
