The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to dispose of the representation, dated 27.06.2008 and also further representation, dated 30.07.2008, pending before the 1st respondent, within the stipulated period prescribed by this court.

O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the representations made by the petitioner, dated 27.06.2008 and 30.07.2008.
2. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner who was working as a Tamil Teacher in the 4th respondent School, retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.04.2000 and he has been getting pension till date. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his monetary and pensionary benefits have not been revised as per the Government Order. Hence, he made representations dated 27.06.2008 and 30.07.2008 before the 1st respondent claiming revised monetary and terminal benefits which are due to him. As there was no response on his representations, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's representations may be considered in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.1229, Education Department, dated 27.06.1981.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner dated 27.06.2008 and 30.07.2008 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.1229, Education Department, dated 27.06.1981 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
