Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and the case has been referred as 'further action dropped' (FAD).

2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. The respondent police shall take necessary steps to serve RCS notice on the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, if not already served.
