Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the petitioner the difference of pension and terminal benefits on the basis of his basic pay i.e., Rs.17,500/- as shown in the annexure to proceedings of the respondent vide Na.Ka.No.4607/2010/11, dated 27.06.2011. ORDER

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted the relief sought for in this petition has now become infructuous and he has filed the counter giving the details of the basic pay fixed for the petitioner and the revised pension proposals sanctioned by the Accountant General.

2. Recording the said counter and the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law if the said proposals is not otherwise in order. No costs.
