The above Applications are filed seeking to condone the delay of 89 days in filing the Written Statement in C.S.No.580 of 2018.

2. According to the learned counsel for the Applicant in both Applications, the delay of 89 days in filing the Written Statement is only due to administrative reasons and it is neither wilful nor wanton.

3. Since the delay of 89 days in filing the Written Statement is within 120 days (30 days + 60 days) prescribed under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015, these Applications are allowed, however, subject to payment of costs of a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) in each Applicatio n , payable by the Applicants in favour of Sri Balagurukulam Primary School, Thirumangalam Road, Villivakkam, Chennai - 600049, within a period of three weeks from today.
