Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.09.2020 and to grant patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of Plot No.137, Door No.14, Srilakshmi Nagar, Nerkundram, Chennai - 600 107 of an extent of 1215 sq.ft comprised in S.No.373/2B, Nerkundram Village, Maduravoiyal Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.09.2020 and to grant patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property in Sy.No.373/2B of Nerkundram Village, Maduravoiyal Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

2.Mr.D.Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 2 to 4.

3.Mr.M.Manigopi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent and and made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 25.02.2021 at 3.00 p.m. at the office of the first respondent.

4.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

5.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the first respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
