(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, ACJ.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the unauthorized encroachment found in Survey No. 145b of Cheyyur Taluk Elathur Union as per the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2016.

3. The petitioner is said to have made representations to the respondent authorities seeking for removal of encroachments in the water body in Thiruvathur Village.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, submits that the District Collector had already directed the Tahsildar concerned to do the needful Hence, it is for the Tahsildar to do the needful in furtherance of the order direction given by the District Collector. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
