Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents particularly 4th respondent from starting any construction work or blocking the public pathway in S.No.25/8 (Pathai Porambokku), Avarapakkam Village, Tindivanam Taluk. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed to restrain the respondents from raising construction by blocking the public pathway. A representation for it has been submitted by the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the filing of the writ petition.

2. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to see that if at all construction is to be raised, it should not be blocking the public way, if it exists in the revenue records or elsewhere. However, if the construction is on the side of the road and on the land belonging to the party concerned, then this order would not come in their way to raise the construction as per the provisions of law. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.3503 of 2022 is closed.
