Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, Directing the fifth respondent to consider the representation dated 23.07.2019 submitted by the petitioner for issuance of patta in respect of 1 acre and 981/2 cents of Punja land in survey No 153/1 Sathangadu Village Thiruvottiyur and dispose of it on merits, within the outer time limit prescribed by this Honble Court. O R D E R

Since the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2019, seeking the issuance of a patta with reference to the land comprised in S.No.153/1, measuring an extent of 1 acre and 981/2 cents (Punja Land), Santhangadu Village, Thiruvottiyur has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the respondents. 2/5

Considering the limited prayer that is sought and also considering the fact that the representation made by the petitioner on 23.07.2019 has not been considered to date, a mandamus is issued to the 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2019 for issuance of patta after issuing notice to all the interest parties and pattadars, hearing their objections and thereafter pass orders. In case of a rejection a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
