ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed upon the petitioner in Crl.MP.No.6673 of 2025 in Crl.OP.No.29950 of 2024 dated

04.04.2025, passed by this Court to report before the respondent police once in a month, ie., on the first Monday of every month at 10.30a.m., until further orders .

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted that this is a case concerned with several crores of money transaction and some of the accused are still absconding and further investigation is going on. Already, this Court directed the petitioner to appear before the respondent police once in a month. It is also stated that the trial of the case is also going on in STC.No.9 of 2023, on the file of the TNPID Court, Chennai.

3. By stating the above facts, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police prays that the appearance of the petitioner before the respondent police once in a month is necessary, since further investigation is going on. Hence, she opposed to relax the condition.

4. I have gone through the records and other connected materials revealed that several crores of money transaction involved in this case; some of the accused were still absconding and the prosecution makes the

submission that the appearance of the petitioner is necessary that too, the petitioner is only appearing before the respondent police once in a month. It will not cause any hindrance for the regular activities of the petitioner herein, I am of the view that the relaxation of the condition is not necessary at this stage and hence, I am not inclined to allow this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. 02.02.2026 Vv To
