When the matter came up for hearing on 11.02.2022, learned counsel who appeared for the petitioner represented that he had given change of Vakalat to the petitioner. Hence, Registry was directed to issue notice to the petitioner. Again, when the matter was called on 12.04.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption 'for dismissal' on 13.04.2023. Even today, when the matter is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. The name of the petitioner Sangam is also printed in the cause list today. Therefore, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for nonprosecution. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
