ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing 1/4

the respondents to grant patta by considering the petitioner's application dated 29.04.2022 in respect of petitioner's property bearing Survey No.495 of an extent of 1 Acre 43 cents situated at Poonamallee Village, Sriperumbadur (Taluk) Tiruvallur District.

In respect of property at S.No.495 situated at Poonamallee Village, Sriperumbadur (Taluk) Tiruvallur District, it is a claim of the petitioner that the petitioner purchased the said property on 06.03.2009 by a valid sale consideration and a document also registered in the concerned Sub-Registrar's office. Thereafter, the petitioner since then has been in possession and enjoyment of the property in order to get patta, the petitioner made an application on 29.04.2022 through on-line to the second respondent Tahsildar and the said application since has not been considered so far, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard Mr.M.S.Govindarajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner dated 29.04.2022 would be considered and necessary orders would be passed thereon on merits and in accordance with law by the second respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the said application of the petitioner dated 29.04.2022 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
