O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to regularise the services of the applicant with effect from the date of first appointment dated 28.11.1989 with all service and monetary benefits.

2. Originally the petitioner herein has filed an Original Application in O.A. No.4459 of 2002 before the State Administrative Tribunal. Due to abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, this Original Application was transferred to this Court and converted as Writ Petition and renumbered as W.P. No. 5920 of 2007.

3. When the matter came up for hearing on 02.11.2020, there was no representation for the petitioner, therefore, the Additional Government Pleader was directed to get instructions with regard to the present position.

4. Today also none represented on behalf of the petitioner. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has filed yet another writ petition in W.P.No. 15733/2009 and got relief vide order of this Court dated 04.09.2014. The respondents also complied with the directions issued by this Court in the said order.

5. In view of the fact that the petitioner has already got the same relief in another writ petition, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
