Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to issue directions to the respondents herein to award Special Grade Scale of Pay of Rs.2200-4000 in the post of Middle School Headmaster to the applicants with effect from 01.10.1984, as per G.O.Ms.No.1178, Education, dated 22.12.1993, with monetary benefits from 01.04.1986 and to grant consequential monetary benefits including higher pensionary benefits. When the matter was came up for hearing on 01.12.2020, there was no representation for the petitioners and the same was directed to be listed on 08.12.2020 under the caption 'for dismissal'.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the first respondent died in the year 2007 itself and no steps have been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taken to bring the legal heirs on record to pursue this writ petition. Since the writ petition is pending from the year 2007, despite several opportunities given, the learned counsel for the petitioners protracted the proceedings and he has not co-operated for final disposal of the writ petition.
