This Contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for his willful disobedience of this Hon'ble Court order made in Crl.O.P.No.23802 of 2016 dated 25.10.2016.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent State.
3. Today, Mr. P.A.Appasamy, Inspector of Police, Ponnai Circle, Vellore District, is present before this Court.
4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order dated 25.10.2016 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.23802 of 2016 has been complied with, inasmuch as the investigation in Crime No.146 of 2016 was completed and charge has been filed in C.C.No.454 of 2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Vellore.
